New addition to the Malvina House Hotel

 

The Malvina House Hotel has a new addition in the form of a clock tower.  The clock was commissioned as part of the restaurant extension development.

On Thursday 15th March 2018, the tower was craned into place and the time set.   In the centre of the clock face is the Falkland Islands Coat of Arms and at the top a weather vane with the traditional cockerel design with letters indicating the points of the compass.

Carl Stroud, General Manager quoted “We are delighted with the clock tower and it has created a lot of interest around town.  It will also be interesting to see if our regular overseas guests notice the stunning new addition to the skyline of the Malvina House Hotel”.
